Alyze Pierce is a highly experienced employment attorney and certified mediator, with a focus on federal labor and employment matters related to ADA, Title VII, wage and hour laws, and breach of contract issues. For 17 years, she has represented both employees and management in various employment matters and has drafted a wide range of employment-related documents, including employee handbooks, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, non-solicitation agreements, severance agreements and dissolution of partnership agreements.
Alyze has extensive experience working with in-house counsel to ensure compliance with human resource guidelines and antidiscrimination laws, as well as handling the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees. She has mediated disputes between employers and employees, and has conducted over 50 workplace investigations in multiple industries.
Alyze obtained her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she served as Chief Editor of the Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Law Journal and was a semi-finalist in the Ames Moot Court competition. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where she ranked in the top 10 percent of her class and was a member of the Cap and Gown Honors Society.
Prior to joining Pietrucha Law Firm, LLC Alyze worked at K&L Gates, LLP (formerly Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, LLP) and Cohen & Grigsby, P.C., representing clients in various civil matters in employment law, family law, probate law, and shareholder derivative suits. She has appeared in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
